John Hurson, of Sidmouth Rugby Football Club, expressed his delight at the formation of this partnership. He stated, “We are thrilled to join forces with Sidmouth Hospice at Home. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our club's values of community support and engagement.”
The partnership will involve various initiatives, including fundraising events, awareness campaigns, and marketing together to promote the incredible work the charity does in our community.
Al Cameron concluded that "Sidmouth Hospice at Home is proud to partner with SRFC over the coming years to raise awareness of our Charity and the services we provide. We receive no external funding, and as such support from our wider community, and the organisations that exist within it, is absolutely crucial to fund our ongoing services.
When we started working with SRFC last year for the Rugby Ramble, we formed an immediate and strong bond with the Club. As organisations that both support and work within our wonderful community, we share very similar values and ethics. When the opportunity arose to promote our charity and our services through SRFC, we were delighted to take it. We are very excited to work alongside SRFC to support them, and to raise awareness of our Charity and our service over the coming years, and hope that by doing so we will raise the profiles of both Sidmouth Hospice at Home and Sidmouth Rugby Club together. It is a privilege to provide our services to our community, and a genuine pleasure to be partnering with our #onebigclub, SRFC."
