Are you considering becoming an Annual Patron at Sidmouth RFC?
Peter Duncan kindly tells you why he did..
I moved to Sidmouth in January 2018 from the Greater London area where I had been a lifelong Quins fan and season ticket holder. I thought to start watching Exeter Chiefs, but having strolled into town and watched Sidmouth 1st XV play a league match in February I was impressed at the standard of play and frankly felt back to grass roots days before Quins went professional.
I investigated Membership and a local friend suggested I became an Annual Patron which made me a club member, with free ground entry, discounted bar prices and an invite to several Patrons lunches each season. The lunches enabled me to meet other members, many of whom had played for the club or even had children playing for the club. I was made to feel at home, made new friends and of course enjoyed the convivial atmosphere and watching good rugby.
In short, I would recommend being an Annual Patron to any lover of rugby who lives locally.
