U16's continued there progress

Sidmouth 43 Withycombe 0

Sidmouth U16's continued there progress in the league with a good team performance over neighbours Withycombe. The squad was shuffled with many players trying out different positions. The initial focus for the game was to build upon the squads rucking skills, which had been the focus of recent training. Theo Headon and Oli Aplin led from the front winning quick ball and then Ed Polley as scrum half ensured the continuity into the back line. The backs displayed some great handling skills with captain Angus Eaton and winger Joe Cox finishing really well. At half time the game was won and Sidmouth lent Withycombe some more players which allowed a more competative game, this was played with great humour and sportsmanship with the Withycombe players competing right to the final whistle. There were far to many scores to list all the try scorers, but each try was undoubtedly a team performance and very enjoyable to watch.
