Club Newsletter

October 2012

Over the last year we have loaded all of our member details onto a database with the aim of keeping our members up to date with what is happening at the club. (Many thanks to Jill Retter)

We will use email wherever possible to cut down on admin time and costs and for those without email we will post information on the Club notice board and All Saints corner notice board.

Please look out for e mails and open them – as so far only 50% or so appear to be doing so ?

The Club also now has a brand new website with more features currently being added.  Our thanks to East Devon IT for their help with this.  You can now keep up to date with Match reports and league positions for our sides, plus make bookings for the facilities and download membership forms.

Over the last year following each Board meeting we have posted, both on the website and Club notice board, an outline summary of what the Board has been doing on your behalf behind the scenes at the Club.

Recently the club held its AGM, unfortunately our communications didn’t work as we had hoped! Although we did comply with our Articles by putting a statutory notice in the Sidmouth Herald it transpires that a considerable number of our members did not receive direct notice of the event for which we must apologise.

Why not make up a table and make a day of it?- details are on the website-

Finally the club could not run without all the great volunteers that we have but we are always looking for more – if you would like to help in anyway please let me know- Mark Seward This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
