November 2015 Board Meeting

 

SIDMOUTH RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED.

 

Information to members resulting from 9 November 2015 Board meeting.

 

There were 9 Directors present

 

         A wide range of topics were covered – these included;

 

  1. A rabbit proof fence for the Sidford pitches will now progress.

  2. Projects are now to be considered for an application to the Rugby Foundation.

  3. The Grandstand at the Blackmore has been inspected and some work will now be commissioned.

  4. The Club Board has been successful in recruiting a replacement for the post of Director of Finance and Administration. Nick Brown has agreed to be co-opted.

  5. Work is nearing completion with the Morrison Bell Trustees relating to the use of the Blackmore

  6. Jason Leonard, President of the RFU, will speak at a dinner on 25 November and celebrate all the work funded by the RFU by inspecting the pavilion and pitches at Sidford.

  7. The club will be setting up a pension scheme for it’s employees.

  8. A mid week training policy has been developed for the Junior section.

  9. Investigations will take place regarding a possible bore hole at Sidford for irrigation.

  10. Defibrillators available in club premises will be better signposted.

  11. CASC participation exercises will be under taken in the next couple of months.

     

     

    The date for the next meeting of the Board is Monday 14 December.
