Sidmouth Colts vs Exmouth

Saturday 4th October

A really good close game

Rabbi Hansford opened the score sheet for Sidmouth Colts finishing off two great tries. Will Thomas got another and a conversion from Harry Rimens in a first half that ended 17 - 5 to Sidmouth. The second half began very well with the visitors unable to get out of their half.  But Exmouth fought back strongly in the last 25 minutes with two tries and one conversion to one penalty kick from Harry Rimens with the score 20 to 17 going into the final minute.

Sidmouth seemed to have Exmouth's attack well covered but a collision between two of the Sidmouth defenders in the midfield meant that Exmouth's final attack went further than it might otherwise and the resultant Exmouth try and conversion in the last play of the game pushed the visitors into the lead. Final score Sidmouth 20 - Exmouth 24
